Time-Domain Modelling of Pulsed Photoconducting Sources—Part I: The Norton Equivalent Circuit

چکیده
In the circuit theory, Norton and Thevenin equivalent generators are tools that simplify solutions of networks involving passive or active components. They have been extensively used in frequency domain to describe time-harmonic sources. A time-stepped evolution is instead typically include transient As a particular case latter, extended here investigate pulsed photoconducting sources, where dc bias voltage optical laser combined generate terahertz (THz) bursts. The proposed derivation relies on application electromagnetic (EM) equivalence theorem. main conclusion this understanding that, from three different spectral regions (dc, THz, optics), only THz radiation be explicitly included circuit. theory validated by campaign measurements reported connected paper.

mathematical modelling of multi winding transiofmer and its equivalent circuit
a mathematical modelling for more-winding single-phase transformer is presented. the incidence matrix-which gives the informations about the connection of the ends of the windings between the nodes-is multiplied leftside and rightside with the inverse of the inductance matrix of the more winding transformer. the result is a matrix which gives the relationship between nodes potentials and nodes ...
متن کاملEquivalent Circuit Modelling of Active Reflectarray Antenna
This paper presents equivalent circuit modeling of active planar reflectors which can be used for the detailed analysis and characterization of reflector performance in terms of lumped components. Equivalent circuit representation has been proposed for PIN diodes and liquid crystal based active planar reflectors designed within X-band frequency range. A very close agreement has been demonstrate...
متن کاملAn equivalent circuit approach to organic solar cell modelling
In this paper, we present a simulation study for a newly prepared organic solar cell, based on a composite of poly (2-methoxy5-(20-ethylhexyloxy)-1, 4-phenylenevinylene (MEH-PPV) with [6, 6]-phenyl C60 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). Photo-current density vs. voltage (J–V) characteristics, for the cell, which were experimentally studied earlier, have been revisited here. The results indicated...
متن کاملTime-domain Beam Shaping of Pulsed Arrays
Pulsed arrays are becoming popular in new Ultra-wideband applications to enhance the robustness of transmitted and received signals in complex environments and to identify the angle of arrival of multiple echoes. A global synthesis technique is here proposed to shape the array field in accordance to a given angle-time mask. The synthesis problem is cast as the inverse Radon transform of a desir...
متن کاملOrigins of the Equivalent Circuit Concept: The Voltage-Source Equivalent
The theoretical foundations of linear circuit theory rest on Maxwell’s theory of electromagnetism. In its more applied form, circuit theory rests on the key concepts of Kirchoff’s Laws, impedance, Ohm’s Law (in its most general sense by encompassing impedances), and the Principle of Superposition. From this foundation, any linear circuit can be solved: Given a specification of all sources in th...
